Abilene Plumbing Services for Homes and Businesses

Water and Slab Leak Detection and Repair

A hidden leak damages long before you notice it, feeding mold and weakening framing while the bill grows. We locate leaks behind walls and under floors with listening equipment and cameras, opening the smallest possible area. Slab leaks get the same treatment. They are common here because Abilene soil swells and shrinks with moisture, stressing the pipe under your concrete.

Water Heater Services

Sediment, a failed element, or an ignition problem causes most of these calls. We repair and install water heaters of every type and will tell you when a repair wastes money on a tank that is nearly done. Tankless units fail differently, usually from scale, so we descale and code-diagnose them, keeping manufacturer warranties intact.

Drain and Sewer Services

One slow fixture is a local clog. Several at once means the line. Our drain work includes camera inspection and high-pressure jetting, which clears the blockage and reveals the cause, whether grease, roots, or a pipe break. Clearing without inspection causes clogs to return in a month.

Piping and Repiping

A pipe that fails in one spot, then another, is not bad luck. We handle repiping in sections or the whole house, including trenchless methods that spare your yard and flooring. We also do the plumbing side of bathroom remodels, and contractors are welcome to bring us onto their projects.

Water Filtration Systems

Hard water is standard in this part of Texas. It leaves scale inside water heaters, shortens appliance life, and spots everything it touches. We size and install filtration systems to fit your household rather than selling one size to everyone.

On-Site Septic Services

Rural Taylor County homes on septic need pumping, repairs, and inspections on a schedule. Our septic crew covers these properties with clean trucks and usually arrives faster than a dedicated pumping outfit.

Commercial Plumbing Services

A closed kitchen or clinic costs money by the hour. Our commercial plumbing team schedules after-hours and weekend work and handles grease traps, backflow, and restroom failures for restaurants, schools, retail, and medical offices.

Older Abilene Homes and Newer Builds Fail Differently

If your house was built before the 1980s, expect cast-iron or galvanized pipe, clay sewer lines to the street, and original shutoff valves that may no longer close. Problems tend to be material fatigue: rusted lines, cracked clay, and drains narrowing year after year.

Newer builds have their own list. Slab construction puts supply lines under concrete where you cannot see them, and tight modern framing hides leaks longer. The other half of it is ground movement, since clay soils around here swell when wet and shrink when dry, and that shifting works on anything buried in it.

Knowing which house you are in changes what we check first. That is the part 30 years in one market actually buys you.

Same Day, After Hours, Weekends, and Holidays

Our emergency plumbers are open 24/7 and often reach Abilene homes within the hour. Burst and frozen pipes, sewage backups, water heater failures, overflowing toilets, gas smells, and no water are the most common calls.

If water is spreading, shut off the main valve when you can safely reach it, then call. We will tell you what else to do while a truck is on the way.

FAQs About Abilene Plumbing Services

How quickly can you respond to a plumbing emergency in Abilene?

Our main office is in Abilene, so we often provide same-day service. Emergency calls are frequently answered within the hour when technicians are available. If you’re outside Abilene, we’ll inform you of the earliest arrival time based on your location in Taylor or Jones County.

Why are slab leaks so common in Abilene homes?

Many homes in Abilene are built on concrete slab foundations. The area’s expansive clay soils swell after rain and shrink during dry periods. Over time, this repeated soil movement stresses the water lines beneath the slab, increasing the risk of leaks. We inspect your system thoroughly to help prevent structural damage.

Is it better to repair or replace my water heater?

It depends on the age, condition, and type of repair needed. If your water heater is under 10 years old and the issue involves parts such as a thermostat, heating element, or valve, repair is often the most cost-effective option. For older units with tank corrosion, repeated breakdowns, or tank leaks, replacement usually offers better long-term value. Our team can guide you through your options in plain language.

Do you provide plumbing services for rental properties and commercial buildings in Abilene?

Yes. We work with landlords, property managers, homeowners’ associations, retail businesses, offices, restaurants, and other commercial properties throughout Abilene and nearby communities. Our team coordinates directly with tenants or on-site managers, schedules service around business operations, and provides clear communication, documentation, and billing to simplify property maintenance.

Do you only serve Abilene, or do you travel to surrounding communities?

We travel well beyond Abilene. In addition to serving homeowners and businesses in Abilene, we provide plumbing services in Big Spring, Cleburne, Brownwood, Lubbock, San Angelo, Sweetwater, and many nearby communities, including Taylor and Jones Counties. Contact us online with your address, and we’ll confirm if you’re within our service area and schedule the earliest appointment.
